Recent years, evidence for collective effects has been revealed in small collision systems such as p-A, p-p and γ-A when looking at events releasing large number of particles. The experimental observations lead to a debate of the formation of strongly coupled Quark-Gluon Plasma in those small collision systems. In this talk, I will present a review of the recent experimental results on collectivity in small collision systems, and discuss their implications, as well as new opportunities and challenges that arise from the results.

 

报告人简介:

陈震宇教授,山东大学杰出中青年学者,国家海外高层次青年人才。陈震宇教授于美国莱斯大学物理系获博士学位,从事高能核物理实验研究多年,先后参与欧洲核子中心(CERN)的大型强子对撞机(LHC)上的CMS实验组、美国布鲁克海文国家实验室(BNL)的相对论重离子对撞机(RHIC)上的STAR实验组以及德国HERA对撞机上的H1实验组,对相对论重离子碰撞中产生的夸克胶子等离子体的特性研究作出了重要贡献。
