I discuss linear relations between color-ordered all-plus amplitudes at one loop in Yang--Mills theory. On general grounds, there are (n−1)!/2−2 relations for n ≥ 5, leaving only two independent color-ordered amplitudes. I present an approach to finding such relations using syzygies in computational algebraic geometry. I give a few examples of such relations.

大卫•科索尔出生于纽约，1986年获得哈佛大学博士学位。在哥伦比亚大学、费米实验室和欧洲核子研究中心完成博士后研究后，他于法国萨克雷理论物理研究所获得长期职位。科索尔教授还曾担任苏黎世大学、魏茨曼科学研究所、加州理工学院、普林斯顿高等研究院、中国科学院理论物理研究所及欧洲核子研究中心的客座教授或访问科学家。
