摘要:
Astrophysical objects provide natural laboratories for exploring fundamental physics. Particles can be produced in the hot stellar interiors of stars and in the strong gravitational environments of black holes. These processes can leave observable imprints on the emission spectra and evolutionary histories of astrophysical objects, opening new opportunities to study particle physics with astrophysical phenomena. In this talk, I will introduce how stars and primordial black holes can be used to study dark-sector particles, with a focus on axions. I will then highlight recent progress in identifying robust observational signatures that could help identify these new particles. I will show how future gamma-ray observations and stellar population surveys could not only reveal fascinating astrophysical objects but also transform them into powerful particle factories for probing physics beyond the Standard Model.
